The Welfare Sector consists of four operations: disability services, home care and health care at home, individual and family care, and care and nursing homes.

The home care and health care at home services in Ulricehamn Municipality are responsible for interventions according to the Social Services Act and the Health and Medical Services Act. Health care at home has developed significantly in recent years and today offers both planned and acute health care interventions in the patient's home. We provide advanced care to patients of all ages with varying diagnoses and needs, ranging from rehabilitation efforts to end-of-life care.

Your role as a Care Assistant with us!

As a Care Assistant at Ekero Home Care, you work together with colleagues and other professionals within elderly care to provide high-quality care and support. Your task is to perform nursing care based on approved interventions according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Health and Medical Services Act (HSL).

The work is varied and includes providing personal care, performing delegated health and medical tasks, documentation, and assisting our care recipients in their homes. You always have the individual's best interests at heart and work to create a safe, active, and meaningful everyday life for those we serve.

We work with dedicated care contacts, meaning you will have increased responsibility for a number of care recipients. As a dedicated care contact, you become a key person in creating continuity and security, contributing to ensuring that every individual receives the support they need.

Qualifications

Do you have a genuine interest in people and want to make a real difference in everyday life? Then you might be the person we are looking for in our home care teams.

To be eligible for the position, you must be a trained Care Assistant and hold a valid B-class driver's license. We also welcome applications from those currently studying to become Care Assistants.

We are looking for someone who is service-oriented, receptive, and has good empathetic skills. You contribute to a positive work environment through your engaged attitude and enjoy collaborating with colleagues to ensure our users receive the best possible care and support.

To thrive with us, you need to be flexible and able to adapt to changes in work. You are responsible and solution-focused, combining the ability to work independently with being a team player. Previous experience working in home care is an advantage.

It is important that you express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, and feel confident working with digital tools.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
