The Care Administration, with approximately 1,200 employees, covers nursing homes, dementia care facilities, short-term care units, home care services, night patrols, meeting points, LSS housing, group and service apartments, personal assistance, social psychiatry, and safety patrols.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a nurse with us, you will have a significant role where you work closely with our elderly residents and contribute to creating safety, well-being, and good quality of life in their daily lives. You will become part of the municipal healthcare within elder care, based at Lillviksgården in Storvik – a workplace where person-centered care, collaboration, and participation are in focus.

We offer independent and varied work with good opportunities to plan and structure your working day based on the medical responsibility for our residents. You will be responsible for approximately 20 patients and collaborate closely with care staff, rehab teams, and other professions to ensure safe, secure, and high-quality care.

Responsibilities include mentoring and supporting care staff, coordinating and planning care interventions, and maintaining ongoing contact with relatives. You will also work with preventive health care, medical assessments, and handling acute situations. Documentation is done in the Lifecare HSL journal system.

Working hours are primarily during the day, with on-call duties every sixth weekend.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a registered nurse. Further education in district nursing, elder care, or psychiatric care is meritorious.

You feel confident in your professional role and preferably have a few years of experience, enabling you to independently make medical decisions and handle situations that arise in daily elder care. At the same time, you have good teamwork skills and enjoy working in a team.

An important part of the assignment is to mentor and support care staff. Therefore, we are looking for you who are pedagogical, sensitive, and accessible in your approach. You have a good manner of dealing with people, are structured, and have the ability to plan and prioritize your work independently.

A B-driver's license is required as driving is part of the job.
