Your new job

The core values of elderly care and a health-promoting approach form the foundation of how work is organized and performed. In this role, you work independently during night shifts, responsible for the care and nursing of residents. You contribute to safety during the night and work to ensure that every resident has a meaningful and dignified daily life.

Your duties include, but are not limited to:

• Personal care such as hygiene and dressing/undressing
• Assistance with daily chores like cleaning and laundry
• Social stimulation and activation
• Medication management
• End-of-life care and palliative care
• Reporting and documentation

You collaborate with colleagues, coordinators, unit managers, and licensed staff, and maintain close contact with relatives.

Your qualifications

To succeed in this role, we believe you are confident working independently and have the ability to plan and organize your work effectively. You are stable, can handle a busy daily routine, and remain calm during unexpected or acute situations. You have good teamwork skills and prioritize the best interests of the individual and the organization in your actions and decision-making. Personal suitability is highly valued!

Requirements for the position

• Trained assistant nurse (undersköterska)
• Previous experience from healthcare and social care professions
• Good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, as the role involves extensive contact with tenants, relatives, and colleagues, as well as written documentation
• Good computer skills and ability to use digital tools for documentation

Welcome to us

Rosendala Elderly Care Centre is part of the elderly care services in Jönköping Municipality and is located in the heart of Huskvarna, close to Lake Vättern with its green areas and the city center with public transport.

The elderly housing facility has 61 apartments distributed across five units, consisting of both specialized housing and a dementia unit.

Together with the team, we work to strengthen the individual's abilities and resources so that they experience their daily life as understandable, manageable, and meaningful.

Good to know

The recruitment is for a permanent full-time position with start date as agreed. Working hours are scheduled for nights, both weekdays and weekends, across all five units at Rosendala. Evening work may occur as needed according to agreement.

Selection and interviews take place continuously during the application period, so do not wait to submit your application.

Before employment can begin and an employment contract is signed, you will first meet with Municipal Health Services for a health check. This health check is a requirement for recruitment to all our night positions.
