The Data and Analytics business area is to act as a catalyst for using data as a strategic resource and supporting solutions that promote business goals at all levels – national, regional, and local.

We are now looking for a Technical Specialist for the Data and Analytics business area.

Your role

As a Technical Specialist in data and analytics, you are responsible for the design, implementation, operation, and further development of technical platforms that support the organization's needs within data management and analytics. The role entails overall responsibility for the underlying infrastructure and ensuring that solutions are robust, secure, scalable, and adhere to established architecture principles, security requirements, and technical guidelines.

You work closely with product owners, developers, data scientists, data analysts, and other IT functions to create modern and efficient solutions for data storage, processing, and accessibility. The focus is on developing and automating data flows, pipelines, and infrastructure solutions according to the principle "automate everything," as well as managing the applications and platforms included in the data and analytics operations. The role involves designing, developing, testing, and maintaining solutions within the data and analytics area, as well as establishing products all the way from code to operation. The work also includes packaging and operating applications in container and microservice environments, as well as handling complex integrations and technical lifecycles.

You are expected to contribute both operationally and strategically by driving improvement initiatives, identifying new technical opportunities, and developing innovative solutions that support the organization's goals. The role suits you if you want to combine technical specialist competence with development, automation, and innovation within modern data and analytics platforms.

To succeed in the role, you need:

• Relevant university education in IT or equivalent experience
• Several years of experience in operating and developing IT infrastructure in large organizations
• Good ability to work independently and systematically in complex technical environments
• Very good communication skills in Swedish, both oral and written

It is meritorious with knowledge in:

• Data virtualization, for example Denodo
• Data catalog tools
• Python
• Tanzu platforms
• Cognos and SPSS-related products such as IBM SPSS Statistics, Amos, and Statistica
• DevOps methodology and agile working methods
• Microservice architecture
• Automated processes and AI-related solutions
• Data warehouses and data lakes
• Data management and data governance
