About the role

As a Desktop Support Analyst, you play a central role in ensuring a stable, secure, and well-functioning IT environment for the office in Gothenburg. This is a new role, offering you a unique opportunity to establish structure and develop workflows within a local support function – with support from an experienced global IT team.

You will work broadly in this role, combining operational support with a more proactive approach where you identify areas for improvement in the IT environment. You will become the natural point of contact for colleagues at the office and a key link between local operations and global IT.

Examples of responsibilities:

  • Provide onsite IT support to employees
  • Install, configure, and maintain computers, systems, and network environments
  • Manage incoming tickets via Jira and provide support via Slack
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and follow up on tickets
  • Work with system updates, configuration, and documentation
  • Ensure uptime and availability in the IT environment
  • Support the onboarding of new employees
  • Participate in IT-related discussions during events such as all-hands meetings
  • Collaborate with global colleagues in the IT team

The role is based at the office in Gothenburg.

About you

We are looking for someone who thrives in an independent role where you take significant responsibility and work closely with the business. You have a solution-oriented mindset and are driven by helping others. As a person, you are service-oriented and have an easy way of building trust. As we are a global corporation, you must be able to communicate fluently in both Swedish and English.

We believe you have:

  • At least 2 years of experience in IT support or technical infrastructure
  • Good knowledge of Windows, macOS, and mobile operating systems
  • Experience with Active Directory, Office 365, and networking
  • Ability to work systematically and document your work
  • Experience working in ticket management systems
