The Workplace

The Social Services Administration in Karlsborg is responsible for elderly care, care for people with disabilities, municipal healthcare, and individual and family care. The administration has approximately 250 employees. The Social Services Administration is the municipality's largest employer and always has a need for temporary staff. Currently, we are primarily looking for staff for our short-term care unit, but there is also the possibility to work in other units.

We are seeking temporary staff who can work as nursing assistants or assistant nurses, primarily at our short-term care unit but also at other units at Haganäs elderly care home.

We are also hiring summer temporary staff for the upcoming season. If you are interested in working to a greater extent, there is an opportunity for employment from June to August. In your application, you have the opportunity to specify your preference.

Job Responsibilities

Work as a temporary staff member can take place during all hours of the day, both weekdays and weekends, but mainly occurs during daytime or evening hours. As a temporary staff member, you are offered work when there is an increased need within the operations or when regular staff is absent, which can involve both planned assignments and urgent vacancy coverage.

Our task is to provide our users with a meaningful, secure, and active daily life. We work based on each user's individual needs. We help with all daily tasks, such as personal hygiene (showering and intimate hygiene), walks, administering medication at the right time, and other household chores like cleaning and laundry. Of course, we also work with activities that contribute to well-being in our residences.

Together, we help each other create a meaningful daily life for our residents.

Qualifications

We are looking for people who are responsible, meticulous, have a good ability to collaborate, and possess a high sense of service. Good knowledge of the Swedish language is required to work according to written routines, have dialogues with both users and colleagues, and document in the operational system. Previous experience in care work is meritorious.

You must be 18 years of age or older.
