We are currently looking for a summer employee for our care and social services in Vetlanda Municipality. Here you will have the opportunity to make a difference in people's lives while gaining a secure and well-structured start in the profession.

Your responsibilities

Depending on where you work, your tasks may vary, but they all involve meeting people in their daily lives. We offer positions in several areas:

• Personal Assistant: You are a close support in a person's daily life, helping with activities, personal care, meals, and exercise.
• Functional Support: You support individuals with disabilities to develop their abilities and live as independently as possible. Workplaces can be group homes, service apartments, or short-term care facilities, sometimes with a focus on social psychiatry.
• Elderly Care: Here you work with care and social activities in nursing homes or home care services. This includes everything from personal hygiene and meals to community activities like gymnastics, bingo, and reading aloud.

About you

We are looking for someone who is empathetic, warm, and engaged. You have an easy time connecting with people and see the value in doing something meaningful. We place great importance on your personal qualities and believe that diversity is a strength.

Qualifications

• It is desirable that you are at least 18 years old, but you are welcome to apply regardless of age.
• It is an advantage if you have education in care and social services.
• A B-class driver's license is an advantage.
• You need to have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing, as this is required for the tasks.

Job details

You choose when during the summer you want to work, but it is desirable that you work at least four consecutive weeks. We offer several possible periods, and you can also work before or after the summer period (June–August). There are good opportunities to continue working here even after the summer.
