Are you a Specialist Nurse Assistant (Specialistsjuksköterska/Undersköterska med specialistkompetens) and want to use your expertise to develop both care and your colleagues? We are now looking for you to take a key role in our development work at the somatic unit of Kristinedal Elderly Care Facility.

Your new job

As a Specialist Nurse Assistant with us, you will play a central role in strengthening the quality of our care work. You will work with a high degree of independence, taking responsibility for planning and initiating tasks, as well as driving development together with the unit manager and colleagues.

Among other things, you will:

• Act as a method support and role model at the unit, with a special responsibility to ensure that working methods are based on health-promoting and person-centered care
• Support and guide colleagues in care-related matters
• Work actively with national guidelines and quality registers
• Introduce and train new employees within your specialist area
• Participate in and drive quality and development work
• Contribute new ideas and environmental scanning
• Participate in network meetings and spread new knowledge to colleagues

Your qualifications

You are a trained Nurse Assistant with specialist competence of at least 200 higher education credits (YH), preferably with a focus on elderly care, dementia, palliative care, or psychiatry. You have several years of experience in the profession and a genuine interest in driving and developing various quality-enhancing activities within elderly care.

It is an advantage if you have previously worked as a Specialist Nurse Assistant or have experience/training in supervision.

You have excellent command of Swedish, both spoken and written, as you will supervise and train colleagues, participate actively in meetings, and receive and convey information. You are also accustomed to documentation and have good digital competence.

As a person, you are secure, engaged, and have a good approach in your work. You communicate clearly and have a pedagogical ability that allows you to inspire and support your colleagues in their development. You work solution-focused, take responsibility for your tasks, and have a good ability to see the big picture in the operations.

You thrive in collaboration and have a natural ability to create participation and engagement in others, while also being able to lead and drive development in the right direction. Welcome to us

The Social Services Board's task is to ensure that everyone residing in Jönköping Municipality, based on political mandates and according to current legislation, has their basic needs for support, care, and security met. The Social Services Board includes the functions of elderly care, disability support, individual and family care, and health and medical care functions.

Kristinedal Elderly Care Facility is located in Väster, Jönköping, and has over 70 permanent and fixed-term employees. The facility is distributed over three floors. Floor 2 is a dementia unit, Floor 3 is a short-term unit, and Floor 4 is a somatic unit. Each unit comprises a total of 20 apartments.

Good to know

The recruitment is for a permanent full-time position with a start date in August or as agreed. Working hours are scheduled during days and evenings, both weekdays and weekends.

You must be able to work irregular hours with every other weekend off, as well as be flexible in period planning as this is adapted to the needs of the operations. Resource shifts, which may involve working at all units within the operations, occur.

In your application, you must attach proof of your protected professional title and documents showing your specialist focus. If you are not a trained Nurse Assistant, we will not proceed with your application.
