About the workplace

Position: Machine Operator

Location: Månsemyr Recycling Center, Ellös

We are now looking for a machine operator for Månsemyr Recycling Center. At Månsemyr, waste collection, intermediate storage, reloading, recycling, and landfilling take place. Private individuals and businesses in Orust Municipality are our main customers, but at the facility, we also reload packaging waste from households within Tjörn Municipality.

Your responsibilities

As a machine operator at Månsemyr Recycling Center, you play a key role in daily operations. The work mainly involves driving material handlers for sorting waste fractions and operating wheel loaders to empty containers. The position also includes some work on-site at the recycling center interacting with our visitors.

Your tasks include:

• Operating and maneuvering wheel loaders and material handlers
• Handling and moving containers and materials
• Sorting and loading materials
• Participating in the daily operation of the recycling center
• Assisting and guiding visitors in sorting
• Ensuring order, safety, and good service at the facility
• Cleaning and maintenance of the recycling center.

About you

You have:

• Experience operating wheel loaders and material handlers
• Operator license/training for relevant machinery
• Category B driver's license
• Are responsible, safety-conscious, and have good teamwork skills
