The Rehabilitation Department is part of the Social Services Administration. At the Rehabilitation Department, we work in close cooperation with other staff within healthcare and social care in the municipality's special housing, short-term housing, home healthcare, and home help services, as well as for individuals receiving support under the LSS Act (Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). The Rehabilitation Department covers all of Härjedalen as its workplace, operating from the locations Funäsdalen, Hede, and Sveg.

Job Responsibilities

• Work to provide good and safe care throughout all stages of life, and identify and actively prevent health risks.
• Be responsible for performing physiotherapeutic assessments and follow-ups based on the individual's needs and conditions.
• Have a close, team-based collaboration with occupational therapists, nurses, social secretaries, nursing staff, and relatives.
• Documentation in the medical record systems Viva and Cosmic.

The role requires independence, as you structure and plan your working days on your own. Working hours are daytime, weekdays.

As a physiotherapist, your work is characterized by a salutogenic approach with the individual user in focus. We work from a person-centered perspective and are an important part of the development and transition towards good and close care, where we increase the focus on health promotion and preventive work.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Licensed physiotherapist or physical therapist.
• Valid driver's license (Category B).

A certificate of conduct (extract from the Swedish Crime Register) is required to work in care for the elderly and adults with disabilities.

Merits:

• Previous experience from municipal operations.
