To meet increasing demands for seamless experiences, staff are continuously trained, and the company often participates in feasibility studies and product development together with its suppliers.

In the role of network technician, you will primarily work in the NOC team, which consists of a close-knit group of technicians. The customer base includes both the public sector and private actors. Responsibilities include operational support and involvement in new customer onboarding, with work performed both on-site and in-house. The team is characterized by strong collaboration where good team spirit is crucial. As a central point in the operations, you will provide support to both colleagues and customers. The work may include on-call duties, which will be discussed further upon employment.

Responsibilities

As Sydantenn grows and follows the market's development towards network-based services, you will be a key player! As a network technician, you will work with new technologies, end-customer management, and troubleshooting. This is an exciting opportunity for you if you are hungry to learn more and want to be part of a journey. In this role, you will also support other technicians who lack network expertise, acting as the expert in tasks such as; performing commissioning for associations, setting up firewalls, and configuring equipment. For smaller issues, you will follow up in-house and handle them remotely.

We are looking for someone who has

• Upper secondary or higher education with a focus on networking and communications
• A strong technical commitment and willingness to continue developing your skills
• Knowledge of WAN technology and network troubleshooting (equivalent to CCNA Routing and Switching)
• Practical experience in configuration and troubleshooting in operational environments
• Good knowledge of router and switch technology (e.g., Cisco, Huawei, or Nokia)
• Experience with firewall technology, preferably Zone-Based Firewall (ZBF)
• Good knowledge of Office 365, including Excel
• Good ability to express yourself in Swedish (both spoken and written) and good knowledge of English

Meritorious qualifications:

• Previous experience with communication operator networks (KO-network)
• Knowledge equivalent to CCNP Routing & Switching
• Experience with IP telephony, IPTV, or PON
