We are now looking for an IT Technician who wants to help develop our digital workplace together with us at Bostäder i Borås.

About the role

You will become part of our IT team, which consists of an IT Manager, a Digitalization Business Developer, and you as the IT Technician. We are a small team where we work closely together, help each other, and share knowledge.

Here you will have a broad and operationally close role where days are varied and developmental. One moment you might help a user solve a problem, and the next you are working on client management, networking, or improvements in our Microsoft environment.

This is a role for you who enjoy the combination of technology, people, and development.

We do not expect you to know everything from day one. What is most important to us is that you are curious, solution-oriented, and eager to continue developing.

Your responsibilities

You work broadly with support, operations, and development of our IT environment. The role involves significant independent responsibility and many contact points within the organization.

Examples of tasks:

• Administer users and permissions in Microsoft environments such as Entra ID, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365
• Manage user onboarding and offboarding
• Responsible for clients and mobile devices – installation, support, troubleshooting, configuration, and lifecycle management via Intune
• Ensure conference rooms and meeting technology function smoothly
• Troubleshoot network-related issues and handle incidents in systems, cloud services, and server environments
• Collaborate with external suppliers regarding operations and support
• Administer and support telephony services
• Document the IT environment and create a clear overview of systems, integrations, and dependencies

We believe you have

• A high school education, preferably with a technical focus, or equivalent technical competence through self-drive and experience
• A few years of experience from a technical profession or IT-related role
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and good knowledge of English
• A driver's license (Category B) as travel between our workplaces occurs
• A desire to develop and grow further within IT

Extra qualifications

• Experience with property systems or proptech solutions
• Experience with network technology, preferably with certification such as CCNA
• Experience with MDM solutions such as Intune
• Microsoft certifications
• Knowledge of information security and data protection
• Knowledge of AI and automation
