Temporary Staff Needed for Borghaga/Vimarhaga Care Facility

Vimmerby is the small municipality in Småland that has much to offer; in addition to the rich cultural heritage from Astrid Lindgren, the municipality is also characterized by a diverse business life, strong local engagement, active club life, beautiful nature, and a peaceful environment.

We are looking for several temporary staff members for our residence Borghaga/Vimarhaga during the period 2026-06-01 to 2026-08-31.

Borghaga/Vimarhaga is Vimmerby Municipality's largest care and nursing residence with 9 units. The wards are divided with a focus on individuals with physical disabilities or dementia diagnoses.

3 positions available.

Job Responsibilities

The duties involve facilitating daily life for individuals who, due to age or illness/disability, need support to manage their everyday lives. The main principle is to provide support and assistance based on the user's approved interventions, self-determination, and participation.

Examples of what you can expect to work with:

  • Personal care - assisting with personal hygiene and dressing/undressing.
  • Supervision and assistance as needed - being a support in handling various situations, e.g., during transfers.
  • Service tasks - cleaning, assistance with meals.
  • Documentation - carefully document the support and care you provide, in accordance with assistance decisions and implementation plans in our system, Lifecare.
  • Healthcare - perform healthcare tasks after delegation by the responsible nurse.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

  • Are 18 years of age or older.
  • Have education within the Nursing Program or equivalent education (meritorious).
  • Have experience from the field of operations (meritorious).

In the selection process, we will place great emphasis on personal qualities and interest in the position. As a person, you are responsible and flexible, you have a service-oriented approach and a positive attitude with a good and respectful manner of dealing with others. It is important that you can work independently, while also having good teamwork skills.

The position requires documentation, so you must be computer literate and have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing.

Working hours vary between day/evening/weekend. Unfortunately, we do not have the possibility to grant longer leave during the temporary assignment.

Employment Terms

  • Type: Fixed-term employment.
  • Duration: 3–6 months.
