The Role of Dietitian

As a dietitian at the Habilitation Centre, you will work with nutritional assessments and treatment, both individually and in groups, as well as telephone consultations with networks, residential facilities, and nurses.

Further duties include informing, supervising, and supporting parents, relatives, and various staff groups. Much of the work is carried out in collaboration with other colleagues in the teams, and you will have close cooperation with other dietitians within the organization.

The Habilitation Centre of Region Jönköping County is a consolidated resource working with specialized interventions for people with permanent disabilities.

You will be located at the Habilitation Centre in Värnamo and will be part of three teams: two child and youth teams and one team within adult habilitation.

The habilitation work is characterized by a holistic view and is based on an interdisciplinary approach. The organization is structured into teams consisting of different professional groups. Your Profile

We are looking for you who are a licensed dietitian. Previous experience working with people with various disabilities is desirable.

Here, you will collaborate with our teams within adult habilitation as well as child and youth habilitation. In this, you contribute with your experience and knowledge as a dietitian. All our teams work for and are characterized by collaboration and team spirit.

To thrive with us, you have a flexible and structured work approach. You have good social competence and good cooperation skills as much of the work involves close collaboration with other professions and organizations.

As a person, you are calm and secure and can responsibly manage your tasks in a structured way. You contribute joy to work to the group and show care for both patients and your colleagues.

Through your work as a dietitian, you are part of creating conditions for as independent a life as possible for people with disabilities.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Since travel is included in the position, a Category B driver's license is required.

The teams consist of occupational therapists, dietitians, counselors, speech therapists, psychologists, physiotherapists, special educators, doctors, nurses, and administrators. You have several dietitian colleagues at the clinic, and together you hold regular professional meetings and training days.

The position is a permanent full-time employment, and the start date is by agreement. Working hours are during daytime, Monday-Friday.

Within the clinic, we have an annual working hours agreement.
