Eye Nurse / Optometrist / Optician to Digifundus in Gävle – Full-time

About the Role

As an eye nurse / optometrist / optician at Digifundus in Gävle, you will work in an operation where the patient, quality, and efficient flow are at the center.

Your responsibilities may include, among other things:

• Reception work within eye care
• Preparatory examinations prior to physician assessment
• Fundus photography and other eye examinations
• Vision tests, intraocular pressure measurement, and OCT examinations
• Patient information and telephone contact with patients
• Documentation and work in digital systems
• Participation in the follow-up of patients with, for example, glaucoma or diabetic retinopathy
• Support in the care process before and after physician assessment or treatment

The exact content of the work will be adapted to your experience and the needs of the operation. You will receive an introduction and support from experienced colleagues.

We are looking for you who

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse, optometrist, or optician and have an interest in eye care. Experience from eye clinics, eye care, diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma follow-up, or medical technology examinations is meritorious, but the right personality and willingness to learn are also very important.

We believe you are a person who:

• works carefully and systematically
• has a good approach and enjoys patient contact
• thrives in an environment where healthcare and technology meet
• is confident in independent work but also appreciates teamwork
• has good skills in documentation and working in digital systems
• wants to contribute to a smooth and safe patient care process

You must be proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written. Additional language skills are meritorious.
