Johan Skytteskolan is a school with high expectations and good academic results. For several years, we have been working on assessment for learning, core values, and accessible learning environments. This work aims to create conditions for all students to, based on age and maturity, take increased responsibility for their studies and thereby develop optimally, both socially and academically. An important piece of this puzzle is the joint cooperation in the subject and in the work team. We see the entire school as a learning organization where joint further education, workshops, and collegial learning are important parts.

As a teacher at Johan Skytteskolan, it is important that you:
- Lead and organize the work and create a safe learning environment for the students.
- Drive subject development in close collaboration with your subject colleagues through joint planning and assessment.
- Make the student involved in the planning and develop the student's ability to learn, both independently and together with others.
- View collegial learning as a natural starting point for creating new and in-depth knowledge.
- Create accessible learning environments.
Your competence and experience
Johan Skytteskolan should be a safe and pleasant school where the student is given optimal conditions to develop academically, socially, and emotionally.
The school should stimulate students to develop at their own pace so that, with self-confidence and good skills, they can meet upper secondary school and life.
Therefore, all our teachers should:
- Take responsibility for and have insight into students' results, which means being sensitive to each student's conditions and needs.
- Have high expectations of the students and their ability to develop.
- Capture and stimulate students' curiosity, interest, and learning.
- Take responsibility for relevant competence development to develop and grow in the profession.
It is an advantage if you have previously worked with students in need of adjustments and special support. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
If you are a newly graduated teacher, you are entitled to a mentor during your first year, the induction period.
