The Care Administration, with approximately 1,275 employees, covers five areas of operation. These are ordinary housing, special housing, LSS (Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) and social psychiatry, HSL (Health and Social Care) and short-term housing, as well as management support. The Care Administration offers meaningful and significant work. Our aim is that care and support should be based on cooperation between the individual, relatives, and employees.

Job Description

As a nurse with us, you will have an important role where you work closely with our elderly and contribute to creating security and quality of life in their daily lives. You will become part of the municipal health and medical care within elderly care, located at Ovansjögården, a workplace where person-centered care, participation, and collaboration permeate the operations.

We offer an independent and varied job with good opportunities to plan and structure your workday based on the medical responsibility for our residents. You are responsible for approximately 20 patients and work in close collaboration with care staff, the rehab team, and other professions to ensure safe and high-quality care.

The role includes, among other things, supervision and support for care staff, coordination and planning of care measures, and continuous contact with relatives. You also work with preventive health work, medical assessments, and handling of acute conditions. Documentation is done in the journal system Lifecare HSL.

Working hours are mainly during the day, with duty every sixth weekend.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a registered nurse. If you have further education in district, elderly, or psychiatric care, this is meritorious.

You are confident in your professional role and preferably have a few years of experience as a nurse, which enables you to independently make medical decisions and handle the situations that arise in everyday life within elderly care. At the same time, you enjoy collaborating with others and see the value of good teamwork.

Since supervision and support for care staff is an important part of the assignment, we are looking for you who are pedagogical, receptive, and accessible in your approach. You have a good attitude towards people, are structured, and have the ability to prioritize and plan your work independently.

A B-driver's license is a requirement as driving is included in the position. We place great importance on personal suitability and are looking for you who want to contribute with commitment, responsibility, and joy of work in the operations.
