We handle more than deliveries, we handle meaning. PostNord is perhaps Sweden's most well-known brand – and we are everywhere. There is a strong drive and will to get the letter or package all the way there. We are the link between people and businesses, with an ambition to make everyday life easier for everyone in Sweden through our work.
You, Us & The Job
As a van driver at PostNord, you are irreplaceable. You find the way, and your job is a journey towards climate-neutral freight transport. Transport is a necessity to reach all of Sweden, and we take responsibility from south to north, from countryside to city. We work purposefully to reduce our environmental impact, and you will be a key part of this by, among other things, being trained in economical driving. Together, we work to become fossil-free by 2030.
This position is a fixed-term employment with 100% engagement. The employment starts in week 24 and runs through week 33. Your working hours will be scheduled during daytime, Monday–Friday, between approx. 09:00–17:30. You will be based at Nipan 60 in Sollefteå.
What you will do
- Loading, picking up, and distributing packages.
- Meeting our customers where they are. Whether they are agents, private, or business customers.
Who you are
- Curious and self-reliant: A large part of the job is done alone, but team spirit is important.
- Patient and confident: Life on the road is a mix of calm and stress. You keep the balance.
- Organized: Smart packing (think puzzle), preparation, and delivery are keywords. As is order and punctuality. Our customers should be able to count on you and their shipments arriving on time.
- Have good physical fitness: Yes, you sit still during the drive, but you need to be able to handle loads when picking up and dropping off. For this, you need good strength and mobility.
- Adaptable: Unplanned events require flexibility.
- Service-oriented: Customer relationships require the right attitude and empathy.
- You are unique: We place great emphasis on your personal qualities.
What you bring with you
- High school diploma, or currently in your final year of high school.
- Category B driver's license and experience driving cars.
- Swedish language skills (spoken and written).
- Good customer service and communication skills.
- Positive attitude and the ability to find solutions.
