Company: SCA Skog AB

Job Description:

This role involves responsibility for all road transport, from forest roads to the first receiving point for all wood raw material volumes transported by SCA.

As a Transport Leader for a flow area within SCA Skog, you are responsible for ensuring that transports are carried out cost-effectively, with flexibility, and with high delivery security. You participate in several local teams within the flow area and, together with the production, marketing, forestry, and tending functions, you ensure that planned deliveries are executed.

The main responsibilities for the role include:

  • Transport planning and steering of contracted carriers for the flow area.
  • Collaborate with the production function to achieve the lowest cost from landing to receiving point.
  • Work with continuous improvements and cost efficiency.
  • Actively work with both short- and long-term planning, follow-up, and collaboration with other functions in SCA's timber flow.

You report to the Group Manager Field Logistics.

Who are you?

You have a post-secondary education in forestry or logistics, or relevant work experience. We will tailor the introduction based on your background. You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment that requires flexibility. You are an engaged and open person who is passionate about developing yourself and the business. Working together with others to achieve goals is second nature to you.

We work with complex timber flows that require analytical skills. Daily contact with a large group of people is a significant part of the role, which is why we place great emphasis on your communication skills.

Our core values – responsibility, excellence, and respect – are the foundation for everything we do at SCA. Therefore, it is important that your values align with ours.

What do we offer you?

Here, you have great opportunities to grow and develop. We encourage competence development, taking responsibility, and realizing your ideas. At SCA, we care about each other and offer an open, supportive work climate. We also understand the importance of a sustainable working life.

As an employee, you will work with the latest technology and be part of the transition to a sustainable society. Our forests and the products we bring to market contribute a climate benefit greater than the emissions from all passenger cars in Sweden in one year. We utilize every part of the trees we harvest and produce products from the forest that help counteract climate change. Making a real difference gives the work an extra dimension.

The position is a permanent employment with a start date as agreed. Location in Sundsvall, Ånge, or Sollefteå.
