The Care Administration, with approximately 1,275 employees, covers five areas of operation: ordinary housing, special housing, LSS (Act for Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) and social psychiatry, HSL (Health and Social Care) and short-term housing, as well as management support. Job Description

As a nurse with us, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the elderly and make a real difference in their daily lives. You will become an important part of the municipal health and medical care within elderly care, located at Solängsgården in Österfärnebo. A workplace where person-centered care, participation, and good collaboration are in focus.

Here, you will have an independent and varied job with great opportunities to plan and structure your working day based on the medical responsibility for our residents. You are responsible for 20 patients at the facility and collaborate closely with care staff, rehab teams, and other professions to create safe and quality care. The position also includes close cooperation with the area's home care nurse, which means that some health and medical care interventions are carried out within home care.

The duties include, among other things, supervision and support for care staff, coordination and planning of care work, and continuous contact with relatives. You also work with preventive health work, medical assessments, and handling of acute conditions. Documentation is done in the journal system Lifecare HSL.

Working hours are mainly during the day, with duty every fifth weekend.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a registered nurse. If you have further education in district, elderly, or psychiatric care, this is meritorious.

You are confident in your professional role and preferably have a few years of experience as a nurse, which enables you to make medical decisions independently and handle the situations that arise in everyday life within elderly care. At the same time, you enjoy collaborating with others and see the value of good teamwork.

Since supervision and support for care staff is an important part of the assignment, we are looking for you who are pedagogical, receptive, and accessible in your approach. You have a good attitude, are structured, and have the ability to prioritize and plan your work independently.

A B-driving license is a requirement as driving is included in the position. We place great emphasis on personal suitability and are looking for you who want to contribute with commitment, responsibility, and joy of work in the operation.
