Your future challenge

To the maintenance team in the UH MEK Southern department, we are now looking for a new colleague!

As a mechanic, you will be part of a team working on preventive and corrective maintenance on our TMP lines and wood handling systems. You will be offered a varied, autonomous, and responsible role where precision and attention to detail are of great importance. Together with colleagues, management, and the operations organization, you will plan and prepare work orders and perform tasks ranging from segment changes to fine mechanics and renovations. You will become part of a great group and have the opportunity to solve challenges and work to improve the facility. As a mechanic, you will also handle work orders and participate in shutdown planning meetings. At our company, being helpful and accommodating is second nature – we are a team!

Qualifications for success

We are looking for you who have mechanical education at the upper secondary level or equivalent knowledge acquired through experience. You have basic knowledge in mechanics, and it is an advantage if you have experience from similar work in a similar industry. Whether you have basic knowledge or long experience as a mechanic, you are interesting to us, as we place great importance on having the right personal qualities for the job.

To succeed in the role, we believe you are service-oriented and have good communication and collaboration skills with your colleagues. You have an interest and willingness to learn and actively seek new solutions to deliver high quality in your work.

You must be able to communicate in Swedish, both orally and in writing, and have good computer skills. A valid driver's license (Category B) is required for the position as on-call duties are included.

The position is full-time with working hours 07:00–15:30, weekdays, with on-call duties for a few weeks per year. Start date by agreement, and salary according to the Paper industry agreement.
