Capio Primary Care Centre Berga has just over 12,800 registered patients. Berga is an exciting area to work in, with patients of all ages, nursing homes, many families with children, and many foreign-born residents. We are approximately 60 employees working together for the benefit of our patients. In addition to profession-specific meetings, we have daily joint meetings and close collaboration with home care services. Currently, we have established teams focused on diabetes, asthma/COPD, Child Health Services (BVC), incontinence, leg ulcers, and psychosocial issues. The primary care centre also offers sexual health counseling, support for smoking cessation, a rehabilitation coordinator, physiotherapist, and elderly care services.

In mid-December 2019, we opened another primary care centre in Linköping, Vasastaden, in newly built premises. This unit has approximately 5,500 registered patients. We maintain close collaboration between Berga and Vasastaden through continuous improvement work, flexibility, and staff exchange when needed.

Capio also operates another primary care centre in Johannelund, Linköping. Capio is ultimately owned by Ramsay, an Australian company with operations in many countries, including Germany, France, Norway, and Sweden.

As a Specialty Training Doctor (ST-läkare) with us, you are employed at the primary care centre on a permanent contract until the specialty training is completed. You are offered supervision every week and participate in Region Östergötland's training program. Capio also offers ST days and training for ST-doctors in general practice.

We conduct extensive quality work, and we are looking for you who find it both fun and important to strive for better quality. You will receive individual feedback while quality data is compared at doctor meetings and staff meetings.

We see flexibility as extremely important for providing good, high-quality care. You should therefore be prepared to adapt quickly and have good ability to collaborate with all colleagues at the primary care centre.

Capio's primary care centres regularly undergo SPUR inspections, with external auditors and in collaboration with the ST Office. The purpose of these is to guarantee good specialty training and a good working environment for all ST-doctors. Capio Primary Care Centre in Berga has received very good results in all SPUR inspections.

As an ST-doctor with us, you also need to be comfortable working at a primary care centre where accessibility to care is an important part of daily work, and we place great emphasis on meeting each patient's individual needs. In practice, this may mean occasionally taking care of each other's patients and feeling secure in doing so.
