Gavlefastigheter is now looking for a property maintenance technician for a temporary position where you will be responsible for the daily maintenance of their properties in the southern area. Here you will have a role close to the properties – and close to the operations conducted within them.

About the Role

This is a full-time consultancy assignment starting August 10th until January 29th. You will be employed by Bravura and work as a consultant for Gavlefastigheter.

Gavlefastigheter is a municipal property company that owns, manages, and develops premises for the operations of Gävle Municipality. The portfolio includes schools, preschools, sports halls, and other socially important facilities. As a property maintenance technician, you will become part of a team working closely with both tenants and colleagues, focusing on functional, safe, and well-maintained properties.

💼 Responsibilities

In the role of property maintenance technician, you will oversee the daily inspection of several properties in the southern area. The assignment is a temporary position with a clear focus on practical property maintenance.

You plan your own workday based on incoming fault reports and rounds, perform minor repairs on-site, and ensure that the properties present a well-kept and safe impression. For larger or more complex measures, you coordinate work with subcontractors and collaborate with other functions such as operations technicians, electricians, and painters. The work is largely independent, but you are part of a team with other property maintenance technicians and have regular dialogue with colleagues and management.

Examples of tasks:

• Handle fault reports and plan measures
• Conduct property rounds, primarily indoors
• Perform minor repairs and measures on-site
• Coordinate and order interventions from subcontractors as needed
• Ensure that buildings and premises are perceived as well-maintained and functional

🔍 Education, Experience, and Personal Qualities

Requirements:

• Upper secondary education
• Experience in practical work within property maintenance, upkeep, or similar
• Valid driver's license (Category B)
• Basic technical understanding and IT proficiency
• Good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written

Merits:

• Technical upper secondary education
• Experience working with fault reports, rounds, or in property environments
