We are looking for experienced software engineers with experience in Industrial Tech who are passionate about implementing AI and working on efficiency, and who want to help Mpya Sci & Tech’s customers put this into practice. We are looking for you who have a solid background in software development for complex products and systems, have seriously started integrating AI into your own and your colleagues' workflows, and have helped companies automate their processes.

About the role

Our clients are in the Automotive, Defense Technology, Telecom, Medtech, or Industry-Tech sectors. You will work closely with or as part of software development teams for control systems, embedded systems, function development, test development, or CI/CD, etc., and help them integrate AI where it creates real value—in the development flow, in the tools, and in the ways of working.

This means that you:

• Use your domain knowledge—you can therefore ask the right questions, challenge the right assumptions, and see where AI actually adds value.
• Map potential AI applications.
• Evaluate initiatives based on technical complexity.
• Identify where AI creates efficiency.
• Create adoption plans with milestones, dependencies, and resource consumption.
• Implement AI tools adapted to their specific context.
• Lead change—coaching teams, building trust, and creating momentum where others encounter resistance.
• Are the person in the room who knows the difference between what AI can do in theory—and what actually works in a safety-critical flow.

Since some roles are shared between the above tasks and being part of the team's development work, you are prepared to also work with software development, as it is through deeper involvement that you gain insight into what is possible to implement. Change leadership is just as important as the technology. You understand that.

Who you are

• Your personality style should be communicative, listening, analytical, and driving.
• You have a solid background in software development for embedded systems and have seriously started integrating AI into your own and your colleagues' workflows. You understand the conditions—deterministic requirements, memory constraints, long verification cycles—and know how AI can help without compromising quality or safety.
• You are equally comfortable discussing system architecture with a technical manager as reviewing generated C- or C++ code. You meet people where they are and take them where they need to go.
• You don’t need to have all the answers—but you know how to find them, and how to take others along on the journey.

Technical profile

• Experience in software development within Automotive, Defense Technology, Telecom, Medtech, or Industry-Tech.
• LLM integration and AI-assisted development (Copilot, Cursor, or equivalent), preferably in hardware-near contexts.
• Understanding of safety-critical flows: testing, verification, certification.
• RAG architectures, agent-based systems, and prompt engineering.
• Strong foundations in software development—architecture, testing, CI/CD.
• C- or C++ code. Regardless of whether in hardware-near or function-oriented contexts.
• Cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
