Our catchment area for adult psychiatry covers northeast Stockholm, including the municipalities of Danderyd, Täby, Lidingö, Vallentuna, Österåker, and Vaxholm. We operate on behalf of Region Stockholm.

We are now looking for a PTP Psychologist with a CBT focus for our clinic PRIMA Lidingö. PRIMA Lidingö is a general psychiatric clinic. The team consists of nurses, psychologists, doctors, administrators, counselors, and occupational therapists, all sharing one common trait: extensive experience in psychiatric care.

PRIMA Lidingö Psychosis is located in the same building, offering the opportunity to work with this patient group as well.

Here, you will have the opportunity to develop in a stimulating and learning environment where patient needs are at the center.

About the Role

As a PTP Psychologist, you will become part of a dedicated team comprising psychologists, doctors, nurses, occupational therapists, counselors, administrators, and medical secretaries. You will receive supervision from experienced psychologists and have the opportunity to broaden your clinical skills in psychiatric diagnostics, treatment, and assessment through extensive patient contact.

The role includes among other things:

  • Clinical assessments and diagnostics
  • Conducting psychological treatment, individually and potentially in groups
  • Neuropsychiatric assessments, personality assessments, and bipolar assessments
  • Collaboration with other professions and external partners
  • Active participation in teamwork and development work

Qualifications

We are looking for you who want to make a difference – for real.

  • Psychology degree with eligibility to start PTP (Postgraduate Training in Psychology)
  • Previous experience in psychiatric work
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as a therapeutic focus
  • Interest in psychiatry and working with complex clinical issues
  • Good collaboration skills and willingness to contribute to a positive team climate
  • Unpretentious and engaged
  • Ability to work independently and structured with the support of supervision

What We Offer

  • A well-structured PTP position with clear goals
  • An experienced and engaged supervisor
  • Opportunities to develop within various clinical areas
  • A warm, competent, and supportive work team
  • A local PTP program in addition to the regional PTP program

Position and Application

This is a fixed-term position. Interviews are conducted continuously. The recruitment process begins with a phone interview, followed by a second interview planned at the clinic. A background check, including a request for a certificate of good conduct, will be conducted before contract signing.

Please attach your CV, cover letter, and degree certificate if your education is completed.

If you have questions about the position, please contact Unit Manager Eva Baurmann at [email protected] (mailto:[email protected]).

We look forward to receiving your application!
