The Property Department is now looking for a Technical Manager with a focus on projects and space adaptations who wants to help develop the municipality's properties together with engaged colleagues within administration, operations, and development.
The role involves responsibility for technical management issues and projects related to the municipality's properties and facilities, where you work closely with operations, contractors, and internal functions to ensure long-term sustainable, safe, and functional properties.

Your future tasks
As a Technical Manager with a focus on projects and space adaptations, you work with technical management issues, reinvestment projects, and space adaptations related to the municipality's properties and operations.
The role involves many contact points and close cooperation with both internal and external actors.
You work both strategically and operationally with planning, coordination, implementation, and follow-up of projects, maintenance, and technical solutions over time.
The tasks are varied and can develop over time based on the operation's needs as well as the competence and experience you bring into the role.
The role includes both project-related and management-related tasks.
The work includes among other things:
- Technical management of the municipality's properties and facilities
- Planning, coordination, and implementation of reinvestment projects and space adaptations
- Participation in projects from early investigations to implementation and follow-up
- Coordination of contractors, consultants, and external actors
- Technical assessments and preparation of documentation for projects and measures
- Participation in issues related to building permits, building notifications, and authority requirements
- Planning, coordination, and follow-up of maintenance measures as well as work with long-term maintenance planning
- Responsibility for and follow-up of technical systems and installations
- Work with energy optimization, sustainability, and resource efficiency
- Follow-up of authority requirements and statutory inspections
- Coordination regarding fire alarms, burglary alarms, and other security-related systems
- Collaboration with operations, authorities, contractors, and external actors
- Technical specification and preparation of documentation for contracts and procurement in the construction and property sector
- Work with call-offs, renewed competitive tenders, and procurement according to the Public Procurement Act (LOU)
- Ordering, coordination, and follow-up of contracts, framework agreements, and suppliers
- Work in Vitec or equivalent property and business systems
- Budget, forecast, and economic follow-up work
Who are you?
We are looking for you who have relevant education in property, construction, installation, energy, project management, or other education/experience that the employer deems relevant.
We would like you to have experience of:
- Technical property management
- Project management or coordination within the construction or property sector
- Space adaptations and maintenance projects
- Technical systems and operational issues
- Contract management and supplier contacts
- Budget, maintenance, and investment work
- Work within public operations or larger property organizations
- Work in Vitec or similar property and business systems
It is meritorious if you have knowledge or experience in:
- Building permit processes and authority issues
- Ventilation, electricity, or control and regulation systems
- Energy optimization and sustainability work
- Fire alarms, burglary alarms, and security systems
- Public procurement and work according to the Public Procurement Act (LOU)
- Municipal property management and politically directed organization
We are looking for you who are structured, responsible, and have good cooperation skills. You are confident in dialogue with operations, contractors, and external actors and have the ability to drive and coordinate projects while handling daily operational issues.
Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing, is a prerequisite for the position, as the role involves many contact points and work with documentation, dialogue, and follow-up. The role also requires good familiarity with working in digital systems and administrative tools.
A category B driver's license is required for the position.
