Purchasing Officer for Borgholm Municipality

Borgholm Municipality is now seeking a Purchasing Officer for the municipality and its three municipal companies.

The position reports to the Head of Finance, where you will be part of a team of 14 employees centrally located in the Finance Department at Borgholm Town Hall.

Responsibilities

As a Purchasing Officer, you will work independently in close dialogue with colleagues, operations, suppliers, and citizens. You will adapt processes to needs, conducting needs and market analyses, utilizing legislation as a tool for good business, handling the formal aspects of procurement, and implementing and following up on contracts.

The work requires you to have good collaboration skills, be self-motivated, and plan, organize, and prioritize your work effectively. The tasks require you to be quality-conscious and to understand and maintain the professional aspects of the work, as you will serve as a knowledge resource for others.

Qualifications

• Completed university or vocational higher education in a relevant field, such as purchasing/procurement, economics, law, engineering, or equivalent competence assessed by the employer as comparable.
• Good knowledge of LOU and LUF (The Act on Public Procurement and The Act on Procurement in the Water, Energy, Transport and Postal Services sectors).
• Experience working with procurement tools.
• Good knowledge of the Office package.
• Fluent in both Swedish and English, as this is required in daily work.

Experience in independently conducting procurements within public operations is considered an advantage.

• Salary: Monthly salary.

• Duration: 6 months or longer.
