Hedemora Turbo & Diesel is a company with extensive experience in our field. We are part of the Australian conglomerate Engenco Ltd and are the only company in the group based in Europe. We are also unique within the group as the only company that has been developing and manufacturing turbochargers and maintaining diesel engines worldwide for many years. Our products are found in locomotives, power stations, submarines, ships, as well as emergency power plants in hospitals and nuclear power plants, and similar applications. Our fantastic products are present all over the world, and approximately 90% of our sales are to customers outside Sweden. We put Hedemora and Dalarna on the world map with our technical expertise and high-quality products.

Technical Project Manager with drive and engineering competence for Hedemora Turbo & Diesel

About the role

As a Technical Project Manager at Hedemora Turbo & Diesel, you have overall responsibility for driving our technical projects from order placement to final delivery. You ensure that we meet set goals regarding time, quality, and cost. The role offers exciting variety where you combine strategic leadership with practical technical work.

Main responsibilities:

  • Plan, lead, and coordinate technical projects.
  • Create and follow up on detailed project plans.
  • Act as the technical contact point for our customers.
  • Work with quotation preparation and some design work.
  • Drive internal improvement work and development of our working methods.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who is a natural leader with a strong technical interest and good business understanding. You are structured, meticulous in follow-up, and have an easy time collaborating with both internal teams and external customers.

Your qualifications:

  • Education as a mechanical engineer or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience in successfully leading and driving technical projects.
  • Experience in design work and CAD tools (we use Autodesk Inventor).
  • Good understanding of financial follow-up in projects.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, purchasing, and production.
  • Experience working in business systems (we use SAP).
  • Very good skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
