Job Responsibilities

• Teaching, preparation, planning, and follow-up work. Participation in development work as agreed.
• Quality assurance by reviewing expectations before the course and evaluations after its completion.
• Contact with participants between lessons related to course content, e.g., preparations or homework.

Qualifications

Circle leaders at Folkuniversitetet must have the following upon appointment:

• Pedagogical understanding or pedagogical experience.
• Subject-specific knowledge or professional experience in the field.
• Preference for experience with and an active interest in adult pedagogy.
• Basic IT skills.

Your proficiency in the language of instruction should be at a native level, and we would prefer that you hold a relevant academic degree. Desirable personal qualities include the ability and willingness to work both independently and in a team, strong social skills, good initiative, a positive attitude towards change and development, and an ethical approach.

Folkuniversitetet in Södertälje offers open course activities in languages, including a large operation in Swedish as a distance learning course. Currently, we offer distance education worldwide, and our operations are growing. The course leader can work from home (similar to the participants). The course is held in a digital classroom, so some computer literacy is beneficial.

NOTE: You will be employed on a fixed-term contract (object-based employment), i.e., from the start of your course to its end. Unfortunately, we cannot currently offer any form of permanent employment.
