Job Description

KTH is developing a Lego-inspired design framework called SiLago (Silicon Lego). SiLago forms the basis for four Chips JU projects and is used to handle challenging industrial applications. SiLago is also the foundation for two IMEC-funded projects, where it is used as a basis for VLSI design within the CMOS 2.0 and 3D-nanofabric technologies. The postdoc will contribute to research on synthesis at the algorithm and application level (algorithm hierarchy). In addition to contributing to the ongoing Chips JU and IMEC projects, you are expected to participate in supervising bachelor's, master's, and doctoral students within the SiLago group, collaborate with industrial partners, attend consortium meetings, and contribute to project deliverables.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • A completed PhD degree or a foreign degree assessed as equivalent to a PhD in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS). This qualification requirement must be met no later than the time the employment decision is made.
  • Strong background in electronic systems, computer architecture, digital design, and design automation algorithms.
  • Strong publication record.
  • Good communication and presentation skills, as well as good knowledge of spoken and written English, as this is required in daily work.
  • Good teamwork skills, self-motivated, and creative.

  • Familiarity with the LLVM/MLIR framework.
  • Design flow from RTL to GDSII.
