SiS also implements closed youth care. We operate youth homes and homes for adults with substance abuse issues across the country. Working at SiS offers you a challenging and exciting career. Regardless of where you work within our organization or what role you hold, you play a vital part in creating life-changing impact.

At our headquarters in Solna Business Park, we have approximately 400 employees, and together we support and develop the agency, which has around 5,000 employees nationwide.

Job Description

The Purchasing and Procurement Section consists of an ambitious and service-oriented team that values good collaboration. The section has a central and overarching responsibility for steering, development, follow-up, coordination, and advice regarding purchasing, procurement, and contracts. Due to the growing organization, the section is expanding with new staff members.

SiS is working to implement category-based purchasing, a process managed and developed by the Purchasing and Procurement Section. The section also handles ongoing training matters, supports good contract management within the organization, and is responsible for the agency's contract database and e-commerce system. The section currently consists of fifteen employees.

We are now looking for a Purchaser for the Purchasing and Procurement Section at the headquarters. As a Purchaser, you will play a central role in supporting daily purchasing operations. Your main responsibilities will include conducting direct procurements, making calls-off from framework agreements, providing support to the agency's purchasers, and guiding them to the correct existing contracts. You will be a key support for both staff at our homes across the country and the support functions at the headquarters.

You will work both advisory and operationally, focusing on making the purchasing process clear, correct, and smooth for the business. Participation in various working groups and internal training on purchasing and procurement may also be part of your duties.

As a Purchaser, your responsibilities include, among other things:

  • Supporting institutions and the headquarters in direct procurements
  • Independently conducting and supporting calls-off from framework agreements
  • Helping the business identify and use existing contracts
  • Providing advice within the Public Procurement Act (LOU) and internal purchasing routines
  • Collaborating with colleagues in purchasing, finance, and core operations
  • Contributing to the development of working methods, templates, and guidelines within purchasing

Within the Purchasing and Procurement Section, we actively work together to develop our purchasing activities. You will participate in the ongoing development of the section's working methods to ensure that SiS purchases goods and services in a correct, business-like, and efficient manner.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Post-secondary education with a focus on purchasing, logistics, procurement, or other education combined with experience considered equivalent
  • Experience in purchasing within the public sector
  • Experience working with framework agreements and direct procurements
  • Good knowledge of the Public Procurement Act (LOU)
  • Good communication skills in Swedish, both written and verbal

It is an advantage if you have:

  • Experience working closely with operations with varying needs
  • Experience in purchasing from a government agency

To fit this role, you must be meticulous, structured, and responsible. You are service-oriented and enjoy supporting and guiding others. You drive your work forward independently, even with parallel assignments, and have a flexible approach when conditions change. You thrive working both independently and in collaboration with colleagues who have different backgrounds and competencies.

At SiS, we value good employee relations. This means that as an employee, you take responsibility for your work, contribute to development, and participate in good collaboration.
