We are a newly launched business area within Sigma, focusing on supporting and leadership roles in technology, systems, quality, supply chain, and Integrated Logistics Support (ILS). We are now expanding our ILS team and are looking for a Technical Writer who wants to work with complex technical products in high-tech environments!

What you will do

In the role of Technical Writer within ILS, you will work with creating and structuring technical information related to the operation, maintenance, and support of advanced products. The work covers the entire information flow — from analyzing technical data to the final delivery of publications.

You will:

• Handle and convert technical data into clear user documentation, such as maintenance instructions, manuals, and publications.
• Work with manuals and publications for complex technical systems, linked to a lifecycle perspective (operation, maintenance, and logistics support).
• Ensure that documentation meets relevant requirements and standards.
• In some cases, drive own deliveries or sub-projects within technical information.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, ILS specialists, and other stakeholders.

The work may involve both independent tasks and work in project teams.

About you

• Experience in technical documentation for complex technical products.
• Experience working in structured information tools.
• Good habit of working independently and driving work forward.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with different functions.
• A genuine technical interest.
• Very good knowledge of both Swedish and English, in speech and writing.

We work closely with our customers, and a B-driver's license is a prerequisite.

We often work within the defense industry or other critical societal functions. This means that the positions are usually security-classified and may entail requirements for certain citizenship.

Qualifications that are meritorious

• Good knowledge of Simplified Technical English (STE).
• Experience with S1000D.
• Experience working within defense, aviation, or industrial operations.
• Experience leading work or projects within technical information.
