The Property Department is now looking for a Technical Property Manager who wants to develop the municipality's property portfolio together with engaged colleagues within administration, operations, and development.

The role involves responsibility for the technical management of the municipality's properties, where you work closely with operations, contractors, and internal functions to ensure long-term sustainable, safe, and functional buildings.

Your future responsibilities

As a Technical Property Manager, you work with technical management issues related to the municipality's properties and facilities.

The role involves many contact points and close collaboration with both internal and external actors.

You work both strategically and operationally with planning, follow-up, and development of the technical function of the properties over time.

The tasks are varied and can develop over time based on the business's needs as well as the competence and experience you bring into the role.

The work includes among other things:

  • Technical management of the municipality's properties and facilities
  • Planning, coordination, and follow-up of maintenance measures, as well as work with long-term maintenance planning
  • Responsibility for and follow-up of technical systems and installations
  • Work with energy optimization, sustainability, and resource efficiency
  • Follow-up of authority requirements and statutory inspections
  • Coordination regarding, for example, fire alarms, burglar alarms, and other security-related systems
  • Collaboration with operations, authorities, contractors, and external actors
  • Technical requirement setting and preparation of documentation for contracts and procurement in the construction and property sector
  • Work with call-offs, renewed competitive tenders, and procurement according to the Public Procurement Act (LOU)
  • Ordering, coordination, and follow-up of contracts, framework agreements, and suppliers
  • Work in Vitec or equivalent property and business systems
  • Budget, forecast, and economic follow-up work

Who are you?

We are looking for you who have relevant education in property, construction, installation, energy, or other education/experience that the employer deems relevant.

We would like you to have experience of:

  • Technical property management
  • Technical systems and operational issues
  • Work within public operations or larger property organizations
  • Contract management and supplier contacts
  • Budget, maintenance, and investment work
  • Work in Vitec or similar property and business systems

It is meritorious if you have knowledge or experience in:

  • Energy optimization and sustainability work
  • Ventilation, electricity, or control and regulation systems
  • Fire alarms, burglar alarms, and security systems
  • Authority requirements and statutory inspections
  • Public procurement and work according to the Public Procurement Act (LOU)
  • Municipal property management and politically directed organization

We are looking for you who are structured, responsible, and have good collaboration skills. You are confident in dialogue with operations, contractors, and external actors and have the ability to work long-term while handling daily operational issues.

Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing, is a prerequisite for the position, as the role involves many contact points and work with documentation, dialogue, and follow-up. The role also assumes good familiarity with working in digital systems and administrative tools.

A Category B driver's license is required for the position.
