Job Description

We are now looking for an engaged and responsible property maintenance technician who wants to help create and maintain a well-kept and pleasant living environment for our tenants. In this role, you will become an important part of our team and, together with colleagues, be responsible for both the interior and exterior maintenance of our properties and premises in Mönsterås Municipality.

Your work directly contributes to keeping our properties to a high standard and ensuring our tenants are happy.

You are primarily responsible for your own area, but the needs of the business may vary over time. Therefore, we look for someone who is flexible and capable of working in different parts of our property portfolio as needed.

Responsibilities

As a property maintenance technician, you will have a varied role with significant personal responsibility. You are responsible for one of our areas and ensure it is tidy, clean, and functional. Your main tasks include:

  • Daily inspection and maintenance of properties, including stairwells, attics, cellars, and laundry rooms.
  • Maintenance of outdoor environments such as green areas, walkways, and paved surfaces.
  • Handling fault reports from tenants and performing minor repairs, plumbing work, and installations.
  • Planned maintenance and proactive measures to prevent problems.
  • Snow removal and ice control during the winter season.
  • Invoice verification and material purchasing.
  • On-call duty according to schedule.

Fault reports and rounds are handled via digital tools on mobile devices.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have:

  • Upper secondary education or vocational training, preferably with a focus on property maintenance, or equivalent experience.
  • Good computer skills and confidence in using digital tools.
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written (additional languages are an advantage).
  • A valid B-class driver's license.
  • Experience from property maintenance, construction, or plumbing is an advantage.
