As a Warehouse Associate at Dagab's central warehouse in Hässleholm, you will become part of a large team striving to ensure that food reaches City Gross stores across the country on time and with the right quality. It is an important mission where your contribution makes a difference every day.

Do you lack a forklift license? No problem, it comes with the job! Work takes place on four different departments: dry goods, chilled, frozen, and special. This means you may work in varying temperatures, from -26 degrees to room temperature.

As a Warehouse Associate at Dagab, your main tasks include:

• Picking and packing orders – You complete orders according to the stores' requests. The work is carried out using a forklift and pick-by-voice (a voice-directed picking system that helps you pick the correct items).

In the future, other tasks may also become relevant.

In this role, you work daytime, distributed across the following shifts:

Monday – Friday:

Daytime 06:00–14:40, 07:00–15:45, or 09:20–18:00

Saturdays:

Daytime 06:00–14:40

Sundays:

Daytime 08:00–16:40

The role starts with forklift training (half-day) on Friday, followed by one week of full-time training. Training takes place before Midsummer.

This training is mandatory for all employees in this role.

Training schedule:

• Forklift training 08:00–12:00 on Fridays

• Training (the week after forklift training) Monday – Friday, 07:00–15:45

Student employment where you are primarily booked for work week by week in consultation with our on-site Team Leader. However, during the summer, you are expected to work 3–5 shifts with a more fixed summer schedule.

Dagab creates, stores, and delivers the assortment to Axfood's chains, such as Hemköp, Willys, City Gross, Snabbgross, Urban Deli, and Apohem. We also develop our own brands, including Garant, Eldorado, and Såklart.

• You must be at least 18 years old and currently studying at least 50% and continue into the autumn.

• Available for one week (full-time) paid training during daytime (07:00–15:45) during week 23 or week 24.

• Good Swedish language skills (spoken and written).

• Willing and able to work close to full-time during weeks 26–33.

• Forklift license A1–4.

• Looking for a long-term part-time job alongside your studies/own business.

• Previous experience in physical work.

• Positive if you have been or are active in any sport.

You have a positive attitude and enjoy taking responsibility, whether it involves respecting schedules, maintaining high quality, or achieving set goals. You are comfortable being followed up on your performance and are motivated by receiving clear feedback on a job well done.

To thrive in this role, good physical fitness and taking care of your health are required, as you will perform repetitive lifting. It is important that you work in an ergonomically correct manner and appreciate keeping your body active.

Your ability to collaborate and contribute to a good atmosphere in the group is important, regardless of differences in perspective, culture, background, or language. You must also enjoy working independently in the warehouse, as you move over large areas with limited social contact while performing your tasks. Other personal qualities are also valued.
