Description

We are looking for an engaged and passionate Special Needs Teacher who wants to be part of our exciting journey at Brandbergsskolan. As a special needs teacher, you will work to create an inclusive and stimulating learning environment for our students with special needs. You will have the opportunity to:

  • Develop individual adaptations and strategies to support each student's learning.
  • Work closely with colleagues and specialists to create a holistic view of the student's development.
  • Contribute to pedagogical development by implementing evidence-based methods.

Responsibilities

As a Special Needs Teacher, you will play a central role in supporting and developing students with special needs. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and implement individual pedagogical plans to meet each student's unique needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers and school staff to create an inclusive learning environment where all students can thrive and learn.
  • Mentor and support teachers.
  • Offer support and counseling to both students and their families to ensure a holistic view of education.
  • Conduct assessments of students' knowledge and needs and follow up on their development.
  • Participate in strategic development work to improve the school's pedagogical methods and inclusive working practices.
  • Promote cultural awareness and diversity in the classroom, as well as create a safe and positive atmosphere for all students.
  • Document in accordance with routines.

  • Licens as a Special Needs Teacher
