Today, Kiviks Musteri has approximately 200 dedicated employees and a turnover of around 850 MSEK. Every year, our visitor destinations in Kivik and at Solnäs Farm outside Lund welcome a quarter of a million visitors who enjoy the environment, shop in our stores, and indulge in food and drinks at our café, bistro, and in our beautiful visitor garden.

We also have a store on Södermalm in Stockholm where visitors can shop and get a feel for our Österlen.

We are looking for a summer worker in Maintenance and Gardening for our visitor destination at Kiviks Musteri, in Kivik, seasonal work during the summer

About the position

Our visitor destinations are the showcase for the company and the Kiviks Musteri brand. The experience when visiting us is very important to us. Here, the caretaker plays a key role. The caretaker ensures that it is neat, clean, and safe in the places where visitors and employees are present, i.e., offices, restaurant, café, shop, parking, and outdoor areas related to the business.

The tasks are broad and varied but include among other things:

• Mowing grass and occasionally hedges
• Irrigation
• Repairing and fixing things indoors and outdoors
• Responsible for regular rounds of the area to discover things that need fixing or replacing and to ensure the environment is welcoming, beautiful, and safe for visitors and employees.
• Emptying waste stations
• Carpentry and painting work indoors and outdoors
• Some simple electrical and plumbing work (according to current regulations)

Who are you?

We are looking for you who thrive in a broad role within Maintenance and Gardening, who are happy to help where needed, and who have the ability to see what needs to be done. As a caretaker, you work at our visitor destination among customers and visitors. Therefore, you must enjoy working among people and be our face to the outside world.

We are looking for you who are social, self-starting, flexible, and good at getting things done. You need to be handy, structured, and service-oriented. You need to speak and understand Swedish and some English.

To succeed with us

We want you to have experience of similar work, e.g., from previous summer jobs for at least 2 seasons (approx. 6 months). We would like you to have a high school education with a vocational focus or an education within the gardening field.

We want you to have an interest in machinery (lawn mowers, hand tools, etc.) and that you can handle ride-on lawn mowers.

A B-driver's license is a requirement, and access to a car (or bicycle) is an advantage because public transport is limited in the area, but access to a car is not a requirement for the position.

Employment presupposes that you have a valid work permit and legal right to work in Sweden at the start of employment.

The position

The position is a fixed-term employment at 100% during the period 2026-06-29 – 2026-08-23, as well as work on occasional days in September (according to increase).

Weekend or evening work may occur on occasional occasions (e.g., during events like Apple Weekend in September), but working hours are mainly scheduled during daytime on weekdays.

The location is Kivik.
