At Önnestadsgymnasiet, we offer five specializations and a total of 9 vocational pathways within the Natural Resource Program. Here, we study and teach natural resources in a practical sense through the specializations forestry, animal care, nature tourism, horse management, and agriculture. The tone between staff and students is personal, classes are small, and both the facilities and educational land are of high quality.

Since 2010, Hushållningssällskapet Skåne has been the main employer for Önnestadsgymnasiet, providing a stable and secure foundation for the operations.

There are just over 50 employees working in coordination for our 230 students. Önnestadsgymnasiet is located 8 km northwest of Kristianstad.

About the position

As a repair technician/instructor with us, you play a vital role in keeping the school's machinery and equipment in good condition, while also contributing to the students' practical learning. You work closely with colleagues in a cohesive team and support practical exercises where safety, order, and professional pride are in focus.

In addition to service and repairs, the role also involves operating machinery, primarily within the framework of the school's extensive school farming. The role is therefore varied and eventful, combining technical work, practical machinery operation, and guidance in a dynamic educational environment.

About you

You are passionate about sharing your knowledge with young people who will work in the future of natural resources. You are confident in your professional role, have good collaboration skills, and contribute to a positive, safe, and respectful work environment. You work in a structured manner and find it easy to switch between independent work and teamwork.

We are looking for someone who has:

• At least upper secondary education
• At least 3 years of relevant professional experience
• Category B driver's license
• Good understanding of machinery, repair, and workshop work

It is an advantage if you have:

• Experience working in a school environment
• Experience working on or running a farm
• Category BE driver's license
