The Skin and Sexual Health Clinic in Gävle is located in Tullhuset, just a few minutes' walk from the central station. We operate both outpatient clinics and ambulatory surgery services, and we are a modern facility handling large patient volumes. Around 40 staff members work here, including doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, and medical secretaries. We also have branch clinics in Sandviken, Bollnäs, Söderhamn, Hudiksvall, and Ljusdal. Together, we actively work on development to meet future healthcare needs. We are now looking for a nurse who wants to become part of our team – come and make a difference with us!

Responsibilities

As a nurse with us, you work independently while being part of an interdisciplinary team where various competencies collaborate to provide our patients with safe, efficient, and high-quality care. The team consists of doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, and medical secretaries. The work involves a nurse-led clinic where all types of skin and sexual health-related diseases are treated. You will work at the clinic based in Gävle, and we also have a satellite clinic in Söderhamn. In addition to clinic work, the role includes ward duties corresponding to 20 percent of working hours.

As a nurse with us, you will among other things:

• Work at the doctor's clinic and, independently after medical orders, perform various skin treatments.
• Work variably with epicutaneous patch testing, your own nurse-led clinic with wound patients, psoriasis patients, and other nursing interventions.
• Provide telephone advice.
• Perform administrative tasks.

Qualifications

The job requires that you can work both independently and in a team, and that you are responsive and have an easy time collaborating with others. As a person, you are calm and stable, maintaining focus in pressured situations. Furthermore, you are flexible and adaptable when conditions change, meeting challenges with a solution-oriented approach.

For the role of nurse, you must have:

• Nurse license (legitimation).
• Experience in outpatient clinic work.

It is particularly meritorious if you have experience working with skin and sexual health care. We also consider it meritorious if you have experience with the healthcare system Cosmic and/or have good proficiency in handling various digital systems and the Office suite.
