💼 About the role

As a BID Specialist, your main task is to work operationally with tenders in the public sector – from monitoring and qualification to submitting a finished tender. This involves a lot of reading, writing, structuring, and coordinating. You often work in parallel with several ongoing tenders and are responsible for ensuring that the processes maintain the right quality, pace, content, and format.

Most of your time will be spent on BID work, but during quieter periods, you will also support the sales and marketing functions with business-related tasks. In this role, you work closely with the Head of BID, to whom you also report.

This role suits someone who is at the beginning of their career and is interested in developing within tenders and public procurement. In this role, you build strong competence that you will benefit from far into your career.

Your responsibilities

• Daily monitoring of tenders in portals such as Tendium, E-avrop, and Mercell
• Qualification of tenders and preparation of supporting documents
• Analysis of procurement documents, specifications, and contract terms
• Preparation, processing, and quality assurance of tender texts
• Ongoing administration of existing framework agreements in the public sector
• As needed: support to sales and marketing in the form of materials, presentations, and reference documents

We are looking for you who want to develop within tenders and build a long-term career. You don't need to know everything from the start. The most important thing is your attitude.

You enjoy administrative tasks, are analytical, and like reading, writing, and thinking through complex information. Structure, attention to detail, and strong written communication skills are crucial for success in this role. At the same time, you have a business sense and want to understand the context behind the tasks – why we do things and how it affects the business.

You are independent in your work style and personal development, take responsibility for your deliverables, and are comfortable driving your work forward without being micromanaged. You enjoy collaborating with others, are unpretentious in your approach, and want to develop over time.

We would like you to have:

• Relevant post-secondary education in a relevant field such as economics, marketing, communication, law, public procurement, or sales
• Experience in administration, coordination, tenders, sales, the recruitment industry, or a business-related role
• Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Good system competence and confidence in digital tools and portals
