Do you want to work towards a gender-equal society free from violence?

We are looking for a licensed psychologist for a temporary position with the possibility of permanent employment with the foundations of 1000 Möjligheter (1000 Opportunities). 1000 Möjligheter works for a gender-equal society free from violence. We run ungarelationer.se – the national support and knowledge platform to counter boys' violence against girls and violence in young people's relationships – as well as Ellencentret, where we support young people exposed to sexual exploitation. In addition, there is a clinic serving both operations.

Young people aged 15–25 who are or have been exposed to sexual, psychological, and physical violence in a partner relationship, as well as young people who are or have been exposed to prostitution and sexual exploitation, seek support at the clinic. Here, you support these young people in overcoming their vulnerability and offer crisis support, trauma-focused treatment, or other suitable psychological treatment. Collaboration and parental support are also common interventions. No referral is needed to access the clinic, and the content and duration of contacts are tailored to the individual's needs. The organization is currently in an exciting phase of development. In order to achieve a gender-equal society free from violence, we are now striving to also develop support for those who have committed violence in a relationship.

In addition to the clinic's support, young people are also offered support via the chat on Ungarelationer.se, staffed by the foundation's trained volunteers, as well as via Ellencentret's chat, staffed by the foundation's psychologists. Every year, we support thousands of young people online as well as through support and treatment at our clinic.

There are currently 8 employees at the workplace, three of whom are psychologists. As one of the psychologists will be on parental leave, a 10-month temporary position with the possibility of extension is now open.

The job offers varied tasks and the freedom to plan your own time. As a psychologist in the organization, you will among other things:

• Provide treatment at 1000Mottagningen, which serves both Ungarelationer.se and Ellencentret. The sessions primarily take place at the clinic, but the organization also offers support and treatment digitally.
• Staff the support chat for young people exposed to sexual exploitation.
• Offer telephone counseling to parents, seekers of support, and other professionals.

To work as a psychologist in the organization, you must:

• Be confident in your professional role, enjoy working independently, and take significant personal responsibility.
• Plan, organize, and prioritize your work effectively.
• Share 1000 Möjligheters feminist value base.
• Have experience working with sexual violence and other forms of violence exposure.
• Have experience and education in trauma-focused treatment, such as TF-CBT, PE, EMDR, NET, or Somatic Experiencing.
• Enjoy sharing your experiences and knowledge for the development of the organization and want to contribute to violence prevention work.

It is an advantage if you have:

• Been involved in the women's and girls' shelter movement in some way.
• Worked with people exposed to prostitution and/or violence in a relationship.
• Worked with people who have committed violence in a relationship.
• Experience working with adolescents and young adults.
• Experience working with complex cases where methods and approaches need to be adapted.
• Education in more than one trauma-focused treatment method.
