About the Role

As a CloudOps Engineer, you will have overall responsibility for our cloud platforms, focusing on both Public and Private Cloud. You drive development, automation, and optimization, ensure operational reliability, and contribute to strategic decisions regarding architecture, security, and improvements. The role combines operational responsibility with strategic influence – you are involved in building the platform of the future while ensuring stable operations.

Together with our Solution Architect and the CloudOps team, you develop architecture, regulations, and automation for workload provisioning, develop and maintain our Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), and contribute to improving our DevOps processes. You collaborate closely with internal teams and external vendors to plan, coordinate, and follow up on development efforts.

In this role, you translate business needs into clear requirements and priorities in the platform's roadmap, focusing on automation, security, and user benefit. You are also responsible for governance, documentation, and security principles, and serve as a natural contact point and escalation channel for the platform.

About You

You have several years of experience with cloud platforms, primarily Azure, and are accustomed to working with automation, container solutions, and Infrastructure as Code. You have a good understanding of networking, security, and performance in cloud environments, and are comfortable solving complex problems and making strategic decisions.

You thrive in an environment where both operational challenges and long-term development are part of everyday life. You are analytical, structured, and solution-oriented, and are motivated by contributing to both stable operations and continuous improvements. You communicate fluently in English; Swedish is an advantage.

Technical Skills

• Several years of experience with cloud platforms, primarily Azure
• In-depth knowledge of Azure DevOps and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• Experience with container technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker
• Good understanding of networking, security, and performance in cloud environments
• Experience with scripting/programming for automation
• Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and architecture

Advantageous:

• Experience with Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework
• Leadership or improvement work in technically advanced environments
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology and DevOps processes
