Alma Assistans is the dedicated company that creates personal assistance in collaboration with the client. We work closely with the client and know that good relationships are the key to a well-functioning assistance service. We operate throughout Sweden with our head office in Uppsala and local offices in Gävle, Stockholm, Gothenburg, Helsingborg, Jönköping, and Växjö.

We now need to expand our team with an assistant who can work part-time, primarily shifts around 15:00–21:00 on weekdays, weekends, and public holidays, mostly during daytime. In the summer, there will be more varied times, but no night shifts. An introduction period can start quite soon for the right person, and we hope you can work some during the summer.

We are looking for you who are passionate about helping and have good communication skills. You are attentive and easily able to identify and care for the client's needs.

The job requires you to be self-reliant and have good initiative. It is a plus if you still have a childlike spirit, as this can help the girl have an inclusive and meaningful everyday life.

She is 18 years old and lives with her family in Gävle; there are also friendly dogs in the home. She has multiple disabilities, which means she needs you to assist and support her in all types of situations at home, at school, and during leisure activities, etc. Your workplace is wherever the girl is located. The girl uses a wheelchair, and transfers are mostly done with a hoist, for which you will receive training.

Her care and support needs are extensive, meaning you will need to help with all hygiene, showering, dressing and undressing, feeding via "button/PEG", training such as stretching, and other activities.

You are welcome to have previous experience working as an assistant in a family. Familiarity with handling various aids such as wheelchairs, hoists, and tube feeding is also a plus.

We would prefer that you have a driver's license, as she has her own car (manual transmission), so you can go on adventures and do fun "girl stuff" together.
