About the Position
We are now looking for an Props Maker/Property Master (Attributmakare/Rekvisitör) for a fixed-term position at GöteborgsOperan's workshops, which consist of a smithy, carpentry, painting, upholstery, props and properties, as well as a construction department. Currently, 25 people work here under the leadership of the Workshop Manager and the Technical Production Manager.
Main Responsibilities
You will become one of seven props makers/property masters who, together with the person responsible for special effects, form the Properties group. At GöteborgsOperan, you will work on creating props and attributes for our productions. You will be involved in both manufacturing/acquisition and participation in rehearsals and performances.
Requirements
- 3 years of experience working as a props maker/property master
- Documented relevant education for the position or equivalent experience
- Valid driver's license (Category B)
- Ability to communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing
- Good computer skills
Merits
- Experience working with image editing programs such as Adobe Photoshop
- Experience working with 3D printers

Employment and Application
The fixed-term position is full-time from 2026-08-03 to 2027-06-25, or as agreed upon.
Working hours may be scheduled six days per week. Weekend and evening work occurs.
