Then you may be the person we are looking for to manage the art in the subway. We will be filling many exciting roles during spring 2026. At CBRE, you will have a varied daily routine with great responsibility and opportunities for development - we are an international company with local presence and a strong team spirit!

CBRE is responsible for service, maintenance, and development of properties - always with the goal of creating safe, efficient, and well-functioning workplaces for our customers. We work with continuous improvements and smart solutions to deliver high quality in everything we do. We are a values-driven company working based on our core values RISE - Respect, Integrity, Service, and Excellence. It is not just words - it is the foundation for how we collaborate, communicate, and build trust. We are looking for you who share our values and want to make a difference. About the role As a Project Manager, you will play a key role in preserving and managing the art that enriches the daily lives of millions of passengers every day. You will lead complex restoration projects in the subway environment. Your mission is to ensure that the art continues to be a living and inspiring part of the city for future generations. This means you are responsible for initiating feasibility studies, leading and planning the execution of maintenance and care measures as well as extensive restoration projects across all modes of transport. An important part of the role is also to educate colleagues about the art in the facility. The work is carried out in close consultation with other units to deliver against set goals, focusing on time, cost, and quality, for example by collaborating with the Traffic Administration regarding operation and management plans. You will specify requirements for what is to be performed and lead larger restoration projects in the facility in dialogue with the client. Regularly inventory the art in the facility, which forms the basis for corrective actions and planned maintenance. The role is characterized by a dynamic mix of strategic considerations - with a time perspective of several decades - and operational issues in the present. You will work with continuous analysis and control in a business that is complex and requires the ability to be flexible and actively handle changes. You ensure that structure, routines, and ways of working support the requirement for qualitative documentation of the art operations, where you have experience working in property management systems and/or art databases. You are also responsible for ensuring that projects follow safety management systems as well as requirements for environment and working environment. The position is full-time (100%) and permanent with a probation period. The start date for the position is autumn 2026. Who are you? We are looking for you who are a confident and experienced leader with the ability to plan, lead, engage, and coordinate the management of art. You have good judgment and can handle difficult trade-offs. As a person, you are stable, structured, and clear in your communication. Our business is business-intensive and involves many internal and external stakeholders, which places high demands on your ability to collaborate and create a trusting dialogue. To meet the expectations of the commissioning organization, it is important that you are business-minded, results-oriented, and able to work independently. We believe you have:

  • A university degree with a relevant focus on art, architecture, or equivalent education
  • Several years of work experience in public art and art management
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English in speech and writing
Meritorious:
  • Curator or project management education
  • Technical construction and material competence
  • Experience in exhibition production and leading art projects
  • Management knowledge within the art field
  • Contract writing and budget management
  • Knowledge in contract law
