ABOUT THE ROLE

In the role of Strategic IT Buyer, you will be part of the company's central procurement function and work closely with both internal stakeholders and global suppliers. You will become part of an experienced team of procurement specialists characterized by collaboration, knowledge sharing, and a solution-oriented approach.

The role has a strong focus on sourcing within Software and Applications, where you are responsible for driving sourcing projects, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring commercial agreements within the IT sector. You will also work on implementing category strategies and contribute to the organization's long-term development journey within Procurement Excellence.

The position is a 6-month consultancy assignment with a planned start in August 2026.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Drive and execute sourcing projects and procurement activities within Software and IT.
• Collaborate with global, cross-functional teams and relevant stakeholders.
• Implement and monitor category strategies.
• Manage commercial supplier relationships and contracts.
• Work on supplier governance and contract management.
• Identify and drive improvements related to cost, performance, and compliance.
• Contribute to the development of the business's Procurement Excellence work.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• You have a university or college degree in a relevant field, or equivalent work experience.
• You have several years of experience in strategic procurement within Software and IT.
• You have good experience in sourcing software and applications.
• You have a good understanding of the IT market, suppliers, solutions, and business models.
• You have a strong business and commercial drive.
• You speak and write fluently in Swedish and English, as both languages are used daily in the role.

It is an advantage if you have:

• Experience within Supply Chain or Procurement Management.
• Experience leading commercial teams.
• An interest in digitalization and continuous improvement processes.
