Section Leader for Personnel – Radiology, Ryhov County Hospital

The Role of Section Leader for Personnel
As Section Leader for Personnel, you are responsible for the daily operations within radiology at Ryhov County Hospital. You are responsible for and work with several administrative tasks such as scheduling and handling current schedule changes, long-term and short-term personnel planning, planning of training sessions, and similar. You have close cooperation with a colleague who is also a Section Leader for Personnel and with the area managers of radiology. Since you meet employees and managers – from both radiology and other departments in the hospital – and patients daily, it is important that you are interested in helping others and that you are used to handling stressful situations.
The position is a permanent full-time employment in your core profession. The assignment as Section Leader for Personnel is a fixed-term appointment for three years with the possibility of extension. Start date is by agreement.

Radiology is a county-wide 24/7 clinic with approximately 380 employees and is located at the county's three hospitals: Ryhov County Hospital in Jönköping, Höglandssjukhuset in Eksjö, and Värnamo Hospital.
Radiology conducts modern, high-tech diagnostics and offers a broad and advanced range of examinations. We perform, among other things, vascular interventions, skeletal and lung X-rays, computed tomography (CT), mammography, ultrasound, PET-CT, and MRI.

Your Profile
We are looking for you with an education that we consider suitable for the assignment (at least a high school education) and experience with scheduling and staffing. We would like you to have good knowledge of the Office package. Working with computers as a work tool is a matter of course for you because you have good IT skills and find it easy to use different systems. If you have experience with the systems we use, such as Heroma and Astrada, we see this as positive.
You probably thrive best in a role that demands high speed and flexibility, and where you must adapt your working methods based on unforeseen events. You have a professional attitude, take responsibility for your tasks, and are structured and good at collaborating.
