To our client, Siemens Energy, a leading global player in the energy industry, we are now looking for a Mechanical Commissioning Technician for a project at their site in Finspång.

Thanks to high-tech and innovative product development, the company is an established partner in the energy sector, delivering advanced and sustainable solutions for the market's current and future needs.

Through this assignment, you will have the opportunity to work in an international and forward-looking environment with many development possibilities.

This is initially a 6-month consultancy assignment via Unik Resurs with very good prospects for extension.

We apply continuous selection, which means the assignment may be filled earlier than the final application date.

Tasks and Responsibilities

As a Mechanical Commissioning Technician, you work with the commissioning and test running of gas turbine cores in our test cell. The role is varied and practical, where you are responsible for assembly, leak detection, and troubleshooting throughout the entire test process.

Each project includes:

• Three days of assembly work in the test cell to complete the turbine core.
• Three running days where you are responsible for LNG rounds, leak detection in the test cell, and rectifying any faults that occur during operation.
• One day of disassembly after the run is completed before the core is sent on.

Your responsibility is to connect the core to the test cell, perform leak detection, and ensure that the work is carried out according to the set schedule and safety requirements.

Your Responsibilities

• Participate in and lead the commissioning of gas turbine cores to our test cell.
• Perform gas detection and LNG rounds during running days.
• Leak test and troubleshoot equipment in the test cell and LNG station.
• Ensure that agreed schedules are met.
• Document the work through checklists and reports.
• Assemble and disassemble cores in connection with test runs.

Your Profile

• Enjoy tinkering and working practically with your body.
• Have experience in commissioning or maintenance of large machinery, preferably turbines.
• Are solution-oriented and thrive when handling technical problems.
• Are resilient, responsible, and have good teamwork skills.
• Communicate well in both Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.
