We are looking for a General Practitioner (GP) specialist who enjoys working in a dynamic environment within a multicultural setting.
Our friendly health centre is centrally located at Hässelby Torg, close to the green line subway station. We have approximately 17,000 registered patients, of whom about 280 are enrolled in home care. Hässelby Health Centre is operated by Region Stockholm. The centre welcomes students from various professions; we supervise medical students from term 9 and term 11. Our goal is to provide high-quality care with high patient safety while working together for a good work environment.
Within the health centre, there is home care, Child Health Centre (BVC) services, a psychosocial team, and well-functioning nurse clinics for patients with, among other conditions, diabetes, hypertension, asthma/COPD, and cognitive impairment/dementia.
Our medical team consists of approximately 20 doctors: general practitioners (specialists), AT (basic training), BT (basic training), ST (specialist training) doctors, and substitute licensed physicians.

Job Responsibilities:
Standard responsibilities for a GP specialist at a health centre.
Qualifications:
We are looking for you who are a specialist in general medicine. We would appreciate it if you have an interest in supervising students, AT, BT, and ST doctors. As a responsible supervisor, one hour of scheduled supervision per week is included for the doctor(s) you supervise. You will be responsible for your own patient list. If you have an interest in Child Health Centre (BVC) work, it may be included in the role. There is an opportunity to work from home one day a week if interested.
Employment Type:
Permanent position. Monday–Friday, full-time. Part-time can be discussed. We apply flexible working hours. Start date by agreement. Probationary period may be used.

The position will be filled provided it does not need to be taken for internal reassignment, according to current regulations.
For patient-facing work within the Stockholm County Council Healthcare District (SLSO):
- A register check is applied before the decision on employment according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for register checks upon employment.
- Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a new employment medical examination, according to current directives, which is conducted through occupational health services before employment.
- Good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is required, in addition to a Swedish professional license. The same requirements are guiding for non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
