Dependency Center Stockholm is Sweden's largest dependency clinic. We offer support and assistance to people who have problems with alcohol, drugs, medication, or gambling. Our operations include acute and inpatient care, local outpatient care, and highly specialized care. We are also a clinic that provides university healthcare as well as research and education.
The Workplace
The Liljeholmen Dependency Clinic and the Tyresö Dependency Clinic belong to the Southern County's outpatient care and, together with other clinics in the county, have close cooperation. At our clinics, you get the best of both worlds. The clinic in Liljeholmen is one of the largest units, while the clinic in Tyresö is one of the smaller ones. Both clinics have low staff turnover with stable teams, a family-like work climate where we support and take care of each other, and access to good transportation. Both clinics receive adult individuals with harmful use and dependence on alcohol, drugs, and gambling. The work is carried out in collaboration with social services, primary care, and other psychiatric services.
The Role
As a psychologist, you work in close collaboration with the other professions at the clinic. At our clinic, psychologists, occupational therapists, rehabilitation coordinators, psychotherapists, nurses, doctors, and medical secretaries work together. The work includes psychiatric assessments, neuropsychiatric investigations, and psychological treatment, both individually and in groups.
We document in the journal system TakeCare.
